Nell Hoffman Bonaparte

Nell Bonaparte received special training in estate planning at the Willamette Law School and has expanded her practice to help clients with their estate planning goals.
Nell Bonaparte is a specialist in copyright and trademark litigation, and has significant experience in handling complex commercial litigation. She served as a member of the Editorial Board of the Virginia Law Review, and authored an article titled “The Tax Code’s Differential Treatment of Lobbying Under Section 501(c)(3): A Proposed First Amendment Analysis.”
Ms. Bonaparte is a former associate at Washington, D.C.’s Hogan & Hartson, now Hogan & Lovells, one of the largest firms in the nation. She is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Cruz and Virginia Law School. She is conversationally fluent in French.
Ms. Bonaparte was on the founding Board of the Oregon Women Lawyers. She is a mediator certified by the Multnomah County Circuit Court. In 2000-01, she served as a special prosecutor for Multnomah County.
